Derek Middleton, the founder of The Way Forward IT, started his career as a paramedic before entering the world of IT. Derek enjoyed many travels, and a prolonged stay in the United Kingdom, where he took on the role of IT engineer, and where he met his future wife, Louise.
After years in the corporate world gaining experience at numerous companies (two of which he had been head-hunted by), Derek took the brave leap into self-employment and established The Way Forward IT.
Derek quickly identified that by applying his vast IT skills to smaller businesses he could enable them to access the same level of IT support as larger companies.
His natural problem-solving ability, personable demeanour, and genuine interest in uplifting others have proven to be a winning combination for The Way Forward IT and its customers.
